Identify the languages in the complete document
Records issued in Tajikistan may include Tajik text alongside Russian entries or stamps. Do not select a language based only on the document’s country of issue. Send the whole record and mention any mixed-language sections so the language coverage can be checked as part of your quotation.
Names, place names and existing English documents
Provide the English spelling used in the applicant’s passport when name consistency matters. Point out previous names, differing spellings and place names that appear differently across supporting records. The translator needs to preserve the source information while making discrepancies clear; translation cannot correct an issuing authority’s original record.
Certificates and academic records
For birth or marriage certificates, include the reverse and any additional registration entries. For a diploma, include the accompanying marks or subject list if these form part of the required submission. Tell us which organisation will receive the documents and whether it has specified a translation format or certification wording.
Check your scans before submission
Use a flat, well-lit image with every corner visible. Check small seals, signatures and faded handwriting at full size before uploading. If parts are unclear, a better scan can help avoid a delay during review. Do not type a replacement for unclear source text without explaining that it is your own reading of the document.
Scope, certification and timing
Your confirmed quotation identifies the work to be done. Pricing and turnaround depend on the language direction, the amount of text, readability and document complexity. Certification is provided where applicable to the agreed service; the receiving organisation’s requirements should be supplied in advance. Requests for other language directions are assessed separately.
