Choosing the right translation for your application
Tell us which organisation will receive the translation and provide any instructions it has issued. A translation certificate, a notarised document and an apostille are different requirements. Do not assume that one replaces another. We review your requested scope before you approve the quotation; the receiving organisation decides whether the submitted documents meet its requirements.
Birth and marriage certificate translation
Upload the whole certificate, including the reverse if it contains entries, stamps or annotations. Birth certificates can contain later amendments, while marriage records may include name changes and registration notes. Provide the spelling of names used in your passport or existing English documents so that any differences can be raised before delivery.
Passport and police certificate translation
For a passport, tell us which pages the receiving organisation requests; a biographical page and pages containing endorsements may serve different purposes. For police certificates, include every page and any attached validation information. Translation does not renew a certificate or change its validity period, so check document-date requirements with the recipient.
Academic and other official documents
Diplomas, transcripts, letters and supporting records may need to be read together. Include accompanying pages and explain whether you need the full set or selected documents translated. A translation communicates the source material; it does not provide a qualification equivalence assessment. Complex, handwritten or lengthy material is reviewed individually.
Certification, price and delivery
The quotation confirms the translation work, applicable certification and delivery scope. Standard documents may receive an immediate quotation through the online form; other documents require manual review. The document type, language pair, length and requested turnaround affect the price. Review the confirmed amount and timing before payment rather than relying on a general estimate.
From enquiry to delivery

Frequently asked questions
Can I upload a photograph?
You can submit a clear photograph, scan or PDF. Keep all edges visible and check that small print, stamps and the reverse are readable. If anything cannot be read, we may ask for a clearer copy.
Is acceptance guaranteed?
No. Requirements vary between receiving organisations and applications. Share the recipient’s instructions before ordering so that the requested certification and format can be reviewed.
